HELLA has further advanced this development and transferred it to other applications and areas of use. The objective: more operational safety when using commercial and special vehicles. HELLA VISIOTECH projection technology enables warning signs and symbols to be projected onto the ground, for example, and thus visually warn other road users.
In the SL60 LED warning lamp, the LED light beams are focused by a special lens optic so that a horizontal or vertical (depending on the orientation), blue or red line is projected onto the ground. This provides multiple warning or navigation options. The compact housing shape is optimal for applications with limited space.
Thanks to the energy-efficient LED technology, the warning lamp can also be used with battery-operated vehicles or those with heavily stressed alternators. The robust housing of the dustproof and high-pressure jet cleaner resistant SL60 LED is made of die-cast aluminium. It weighs just 290 grams.
